Front Door Fascination: Palais Royale

As a Toronto real estate agent, I’ve seen my fair share of front doors. Front doors are interesting — they can be beautiful, falling off their hinges, squeaky, often a mismatch for the house — I never know what will click. I dunno, maybe the appeal is that you don’t always know what lies behind a door.

On yesterday’s chilly bike ride I swung by (heh!) the Palais Royale, a remodeled dance hall located in the Sunnyside Beach area, and shot this photograph. I love the reflection in the glass, lots of activity flying by those doors. And one is slightly ajar. Why?
