Within Toronto Real Estate District E10 (including Guildwood, Highland Creek, Port Union and West Hill neighbourhoods), the dominant resale house types are detached and condominium townhouse.
What does the Toronto real estate market performance look like this month for District E10?

The Toronto MLS indicates there have been 439 sales to date, a 22.71% decrease over the same period last year. This October (year-to-date) detached homes averaged $392,000, a 4.67% increase over the same period last year. Condominium townhouses averaged $209,572, a 9.82% increase over the average price recorded in October 2007.
To note: Sales of freehold townhouses (including attached & row house types) kept pace with condominium townhouses, selling 36 and 37 units to date respectively. This trend was first noted in the January 2008 Real Estate Snapshot.
