Within Toronto Real Estate District E10 (including Guildwood, Highland Creek, Port Union and West Hill neighbourhoods), the dominant resale house types are detached and condominium townhouse.
What does the Toronto real estate market performance look like this month for District E10?

To date there have been 34 sales, a 10.53% decrease over the same period last year. This January detached homes averaged $378,996, a 9.39% increase over the same period last year. Condominium townhouses averaged $201,000 a 23.31% increase over the average price recorded in January 2007.
To note: Freehold townhouses (including attached & row house types) outsold condominium townhouses by 50% in January 2008. It will be interesting to see if this is an anomaly or if the trend holds as the year progresses.
